The Memory Lane Foundation Advisory Board brings together distinguished leaders in dementia care, neuroscience, aging, healthcare, and social impact. Its members provide scientific and strategic guidance to help ensure that the Foundation’s work remains evidence-based, human-centered, and focused on improving the lives of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Memory Lane TV (MLTV) is an evidence-based, multi-sensory therapeutic platform using guided imagery, soundscapes, and storytelling to improve quality of life for individuals living with dementia. Developed in Portland, Maine, by Memoro Inc. under Alban Maino, it reflects over a decade of research and clinical collaboration across the U.S., Canada, and France.
Memory Lane Foundation is the nonprofit carrying that work forward as a public good — making MLTV's therapeutic library of more than 1,200 original films and 1,500+ hours of programming freely available to individuals, families, and care communities, regardless of ability to pay. The catalog is already shown to reduce agitation, spark memories, foster connection, and ease the burden on care partners.
The Foundation is rolling out free access state by state, beginning with New York, in partnership with the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA).
